Great Cars Nobody Bought in 2018

No matter how good some cars are to drive, people just don't buy as many of them as you'd expect. Here are all of the greatest new cars no one bought in 2018.

Fiat 124 Spider - 3515 Sold

Sure, it might not be as fun to drive as its Miata sibling, but the 124 Spider is still one hell of a roadster. Plus, that nostalgic styling has to count for something, right? (Wrong.) Fiat sold just 3515 units in 2018, down 22 percent from 2017.

Alfa Romeo 4C - 238 Sold

Though there are mixed opinions on how the 4C drives, there's one thing we can all agree on: It looks stunning. Wide, short, and beautifully designed, it screams Alfa Romeo. Sadly, Alfa sold just 238 cars in 2018. That's 169 fewer than 2017.

Lexus LC - 1979 Sold

The LC500 and LC500h hybrid are great GT cars-the 500 has a wonderful 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 we can't get enough of. Plus, it looks fantastic. Neither of those things helped sales, though. Lexus sold just 1979 cars in 2018, 508 units less than 2017.

Toyota 86 / Scion FR-S - 4146 Sold

The Toyota 86 may be virtually unchanged since its debut as the Scion FR-S in 2013, but it's still an incredibly fun cars. 4146 people were interested enough to buy one in 2018, nearly 40 percent less than the number of cars sold in 2017.

Chevrolet Corvette - 18,791 Sold

The current Chevy Corvette has been around since 2014, and a mid-engine replacement is most-likely coming sometime this year. Those things would explain why sales are down 25 percent in 2018 to 18,791 units.
